September 2, 2008  The LFC U11 Girls Classic White, coached by Jonathan Stiles, advanced to the championship game in the top division of the Dublin Cup.  The girls were undefeated in their preliminary games before falling in the championship.  Great effort girls.  Photo

September 1, 2008  The LFC 14 Boys Premier, led by Coach Kincheloe, were in Dublin, Ohio Aug 30&31 and returned home the new Dublin Charity Cup Champions in the 14/15 green division--scoring 22 goals for and 1 against.

August 27, 2008 The LFC 99 Classic Boys Team won three games and did not allow a goal the Bluegrass Cup ’08. The LFC boys beat the home team Bluegrass ’99 boys in the final to win their first hardware of the season.  Great job LFC 99 Classic Boys!  Congratulations to the following players and coach:  Dillan Blue, Kevin Carlson, Cole Chalmers, Ryan Crump, Noel Dingle, Alec Dupont, Robert Goodman,  Brian Sato, Nicholas Whitehouse, Kyle Workman,  Kosuke Yonenaga and Coach Nathan Sells.  Photo

August 26, 2008  The U-11 Boys Classic, coached by Matt Schweder played in the Bluegrass Cup in Versailles on Aug. 22-24.  They won the U-11 Boys Division beating Bluegrass SC 4-1 in the championship game.  During the tournament they went 3 and 0, scoring 17 goals and giving up five (5), with one shutout.  Eight different players scored goals during the tournament.  Photo

June 24, 2008 Welcome to all new and returning Lexington FC players for fall 2008 and spring 2009!  If anyone still needs to order a complete uniform kit, please contact the LFC office at 219-1493 as soon as possible. Orders need to be placed before the end of June to ensure timely delivery. Have a safe and enjoyable summer.

June 2, 2008  Lexington FC is proud to announce 5 more Kentucky State Championship teams! Our Under 15 Premier Girls, coached by Kris Zander and Under 15 Premier Boys team, coached by Brandon Bowman, won the Kentucky State Open Cup in Bowling Green over the weekend. They will represent Kentucky in the Region 2 championships in Rockford, Illinois June 20-25. The Under 12 Premier Girls, coached by Jim Tussey; the Under 11 Premier Boys, coached by Brian Duggan; and the Under 12 Premier Boys, coached by Mike Donnelly, won the Eurosport Kentucky Championships, also in Bowling Green. Our Under 13 and 14 Premier Girls teams were finalists in the Kentucky State Open Cup. Congratulations to all players, coaches, and fans of these teams on a job well done!

May 28, 2008  Congratulations to all Lexington FC teams advancing to the semi final round of the Kentucky State Open Cup championships in Bowling Green May 31 - June 1. The Lexington FC Premier Girls U-13, U-14, U-15, and U-16 and the Lexington FC Premier Boys U-14, U-15, and U-16 won their respective groups last weekend at Masterson Station and will play for a chance to represent our state at the Region 2 championships held in Rockford, Illinois next month. Good Luck to all teams!

May 20, 2008 Congratulations to our newest State Champions! The Lexington FC Under 10 Girls Premier coached by Julio Serrano and the Lexington FC Under 10 Boys Premier coached by Richie Walsh won their respective age groups in the Kentucky Eurosport Challenge Cup at Horse Fork Creek Park in Owensboro last weekend. The Lexington FC Under 9 Girls Premier team, coached by Maggie Ray, was a state finalist. The Lexington FC Under 9 Boys Premier, coached by Graham Rowles, was a state semifinalist. The Lexington FC Premier Girls and Boys Under 11 and 12 teams all advanced to the semifinal round that will be played in Bowling Green on May 31-June 1. Congratulations to all of these fine young LFC players and their coaches and parents. We are proud of you!

May 5, 2008  The U9 PREMIER TEAM participated in the 4th Annual Club X Tornado Memorial Soccer Tournament in Xenia, OH April 19th and 20th 2008.  There was 160 Teams playing in 28 different divisions. The 99LFC Premier played in the U9 Gold Division with Ohio teams from Beavercreek, Vandalia, and Cincinnati. The weekend was a great success because the players came together as a "team" playing for each other, scoring 21 goals and allowing only seven in four games during the tournament.  In Sunday's championship game, the 99LFC Premier team played Cincinnati West Soccer Club Panther Pride, winning 4-1 in a match that was judged by most spectators to be very well played by both teams. Graham Rowles and Jonathon Delap's 99LFC Premier team enjoyed its first tournament win and the "required ice cream" that the coaches mandated on the trip home. Photo

April 21, 2008  The LFC 98 Boys Premier team had a great weekend at the Northern Ohio Cup in Lodi, OH this weekend... The boys went 3-0-0 in their bracket and
made it to the semi-finals,where they ended with a 3 to 2 loss that could have gone either way. Coach Richie Walsh was very pleased with the tenacity of his U10 boys. Congratulations!

April 21, 2008  Our LFC U11 Girls classic-white team won the Music City Invitational- Silver Division on April 19, 2008 in Nashville TN.   The goalies for the team (Olivia Meck and Madison Combs) posted four shut outs.  The team is coached by Sarah Thornton with Erin Hurst assisting. Photo

April 21, 2008 Its been a great start to the season for the U10 Girls Classic Red.  Coached by Monique Schreiner and Jonathan Stiles, the girls were finalist in the rain shortened Kick in the Bluegrass.  The girls were also finalist in the MASC tournament in Fairfield, Ohio where they lost in PK's for the championship.  Classic Red outscored their opponents 17-9 in four very exciting games.  Way to go girls!  Photo

April 19, 2008 The LFC 97 Premier Boys were the U11 Champions in the Blues City Blowout in Memphis, TN.  In winning the Gold Division, LFC shut out all competitors including Tennessee Rush (5-0); the host team Lobos (0-3) and Little Rock FC (0-5).   This was the team’s first tournament outing and first win under the leadership of new head coach Brian Duggan and assistant coach Kevin Lippert.  Photo
