Registration Instructions and Tryout Results for Lexington FC teams for Fall 2008 and Spring 2009

Team lists will be posted on the Lexington FC website at www.lexingtonfc.org as soon as they are available after tryouts. Most lists will be posted the day following the last day of tryouts for a particular age group. Be patient. If a “pool” team is named and your child’s name is on the list, he/she has definitely made a LFC team and you need to register within the designated registration window. The coach will have at least one “call back” session before assigning players to a particular team in that age group.

 To register for all teams:
If your child’s name is on a team or “pool” list, you must register your child online at www.lexingtonfc.org. Click on the REGISTRATION link on the left side bar. Instructions are posted on the website. You will need the last four digits of your child’s social security number to register. You may pay by credit card or by check. For U-9 through U-14 teams, you will receive a $50 discount if you pay in full by credit card or by check. If you choose to pay in two installments, half will be due by the June deadline for your age group and the other half will be due in October. We ask that you submit both checks when registering but the October check will not be cashed until the appropriate date. Yearly Fees are listed below. 

Under 9 and Under 10
Registration fee (paid in full)…………………………..$540

Under 11 and Under 12

Under 13 and Under 14 Premier

Under 13 and Under 14 Classic

Under 15 through Under 18 Premier

Registration fee (no uniform needed)………………………...$405
(Fees are not subject to discount, but if paying by check and not in full, ½ payment ($202.50) is due by June 13 and ½ payment ($202.50) is due Oct. 1**. Uniforms ($75) must be paid for by cash or check when ordered.

Under 15 through Under 18 Classic

Registration fee (no uniform needed)………………………...$335
(Fees are not subject to discount, but if paying by check and not in full, ½ payment ($167.50) is due by June 13 and ½ payment ($167.50) is due Oct. 1**. Uniforms ($75)must be paid for by cash or check when ordered.
**We ask that you turn in both registration checks at the initial deadline, but post date the second check to  October, 2008. Checks will be deposited at the appropriate time.
Registrations after the June deadline are subject to a $25 late fee. 
Scholarship players:
Scholarship players should register online and select the “Pay by check” option. Instead of sending a check, visit the LFC website and download a scholarship form and scholarship guidelines information. Mail the completed form to the LFC office by the same deadlines for check payments listed above. Uniforms are not subject to scholarship and must be paid in full at the time of ordering ($75). You will be notified of the scholarship committee’s decision concerning your scholarship application as soon as possible.
Important Information:
If you do not have access to a computer, you may register in person by calling the LFC office at 859-219-1493. Failure to register or contact the LFC office about a missed registration window can result in your child not being placed on a team.
Deadlines for registration:
U-9 though U-12 teams formed after June 2-4 tryouts: midnight, June 7, 2008.
U-9 though U-12 teams formed after June 3-5 tryouts: midnight, June 8, 2008.
U-13 through U-18 Premier teams formed after June 7 tryouts: midnight, June 10, 2008.
U-13 through U-18 Classic teams formed after June 15 tryouts: midnight, June 18, 2008. Teams will have alternates. If you miss your registration deadline, the alternates may be selected.

Uniforms
Players new to LFC or returning players who need a full uniform kit (2 jerseys, 1 pr. Shorts, 2 prs of socks) should plan to visit the LFC office at the following times to be fitted. Uniforms ($75) MUST be paid for separately and by cash or check only. (No credit cards) These times are NOT for registration; all registration should be completed online. If you need just a pair of shorts or just a pair of socks please visit our vendor, the Soccer Center, on South Ashland Avenue in Chevy Chase.

All players new to LYSA or LFC, regardless of age group, must submit a copy of their birth certificate to the LFC office. These can not be returned. We must have proof of age on file before registration can be finalized.
