Registration Instructions for Lexington FC teams for
Fall 2010 and Spring 2011

Team lists will be posted on the Lexington FC website at www.lexingtonfc.org as soon as they are available after tryouts. Most lists will be posted the day following the last day of tryouts for a particular age group, some may be posted sooner. Be patient. If a “pool” team is named and your child’s name is on the list, he/she has definitely made a LFC team and you need to register within the designated registration window. The coach will have at least one “call back” session before assigning players to a particular team in that age group.

To register for all teams:
If your child’s name is on a team or “pool” list, you must register your child online at www.lexingtonfc.org. Click on the REGISTRATION link on the left side bar. You will be asked to set up a password protected account with LYSA which will make future registrations easier, plus you can register multiple children regardless of LYSA program. Instructions are posted on the website. You will need the last four digits of your child’s social security number to register. You may pay by credit card or by check. If you choose to pay in two installments YOU MUST SELECT THE PAY BY CHECK OPTION, and half will be due by the June deadline for your age group and the other half will be due in October. You must submit both checks when sending in your payment but the October check will not be cashed until the appropriate date. Yearly Fees are listed below.  Since all LFC players (excluding U-18s) must purchase a new uniform kit this year, these fees include the uniform cost. Uniform cost for the Academy is $50 (three t-shirts, one pr of club shorts and one pr of socks.) Uniform cost for U-10 through U-17 is $95 (two jerseys, two shorts, two pr socks) Uniforms will be ordered online and opportunities for sizing will be at tryouts and at designated office hours.  See website for more details.  If you do not have access to a computer, you may register in person by calling the LFC office at 859-219-1493. Failure to register or contact the LFC office about a missed registration window can result in your child not being placed on a team.

Under 9 Academy
Registration fee……………………….  $640 (includes uniform)

Registration fee…………………………$765 (includes uniform)

 If paying by check and not in full, ½ payment ($382.50)) should be dated June 18 and the other ½ ($382.50) dated October 1. Both checks should be in the LFC office by June 18.

 Under 13 and Under 14 Premier
Registration fee ………………………...$905 (includes uniform)

If paying by check and not in full, ½ payment ($452.50) should be dated June 18 and the other ½ ($452.50) dated October 1. Both checks should be in the LFC office by June 18.

Under 13 and Under 14 Classic
Registration fee ………………………...$765 (includes uniform)

If paying by check and not in full, ½ payment ($382.50) should be dated June 18 and the other ½ ($382.50) dated October 1. Both checks should be in the LFC office by June 18.

Under 15 through Under 17 Premier

Registration fee …………………………...$500 (includes uniform)

If paying by check and not in full, ½ payment ($250) is due by June 18 and ½ payment ($250) dated October 1. Both checks should be in the LFC office by June 18.

Under 15 through Under 17 Classic

Registration fee    ………………………...$430 (includes uniform)

If paying by check and not in full, ½ payment ($215) is due by June 18 and ½ payment ($215) dated October 1. Both checks should be in the LFC office by June 18.
 

Under 18 Premier

Registration fee…………………………..$405. (no uniform)

If paying by check and not in full, ½ payment ($202.50) is due by June 18 and ½ payment ($202.50) dated October 1. Both checks should be in the LFC office by June 18.

Under 18 Classic

Registration fee……………………………$335 (no uniform)

If paying by check and not in full, ½ payment ($167.50) is due by June 18 and ½ payment ($167.50) dated October 1. Both checks should be in the LFC office by June 18.

Scholarship players:
Scholarship players should register online and select the “Pay by check” option. Instead of sending a check, visit the LFC website and download a scholarship form and scholarship guidelines information. The completed form must be in the LFC office by June 18. Uniforms are not subject to scholarship and must be paid in full . Send a check made payable to LFC for $95 along with your scholarship application. You will be notified of the scholarship committee’s decision concerning your scholarship application as soon as possible.
 
Deadlines for registration:
You must register within 24 hours after your results are posted on our website. Teams will have alternates. If you miss your registration deadline, the alternates may be selected. All registration is done online at www.lexingtonfc.org

All players new to LYSA or LFC, regardless of age group, must submit a copy of their birth certificate to the LFC office. These will not be returned. We must have proof of age on file before registration can be finalized.

Age groups U-9 through U-12 will have the opportunity to purchase an optional six week Lexington FC Winter Training package taught by LFC coaches for $60 at registration. This cost will go up to $75 if you sign up later. U-9s will train on Mondays, U-10s on Tuesdays, U-11s on Wednesdays, and U-12s on Thursdays.
